Email Marketing Manager Position Summary - Beauty
*MUST BE BASED IN LOS ANGELES
- Responsible for the accurate audience selection and deployment of email supporting business needs
- Coordinate all campaign components
- Responsible for creating email campaigns from start to finish - design included.
- Accountable for requirements gathering, understanding audience selection and segmentation, sharing creative request responsibilities, configuring/verifying URL tracking and deploying campaigns using a variety of tools and interfaces
- Responsible for identifying and implementing industry best practices, quality control procedures and adhering to a high degree of quality while supporting numerous marketing campaigns
- Ensure high deliverability of campaigns by utilizing various tools, practices, and partners
- Triage and troubleshoot issues which may arise
- Demonstrate leadership and exhibit excellent communication, project management and process optimization skills
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Additional responsibilities will arise.
- Participate in weekly meetings to discuss ongoing strategy, upcoming launches, and future opportunities for improvement of retention marketing practices
- Maintain, contribute and distribute the email marketing calendar which details dependencies and dates.
- Exhibit expertise in email production as well as sufficient knowledge of database marketing in order to effectively communicate and coordinate requirements with technical end-users when the need arises
- Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in testing and deploying campaigns so proper tracking is in place
- Manage timelines and synchronize resource allocation among multiple teams to ensure campaign delivery
- Run A/B testing in the email platform while also providing analysis of results and opportunities to improve items such as creative, subject lines, layouts, segmentation, send times, etc.
- Work cross-functionally with the ecommerce team to ensure learnings and priorities are shared and understood.
- Research trends, changes in technologies and targeted marketing industry standards
- Run weekly, monthly, and quarterly email performance reports. Provide performance summary with insights and recommendations to business owners and senior leadership.
Education and/or Experience Requirements
- 2-3 years in email marketing in the Beauty industry
